Gambling is one form of entertainment with a real cost attached to it. The tools on this page exist to help you keep that decision in your control, or to help if you find it has shifted.
The decisions made before a session start are more reliable than decisions made during one. A few things worth doing before you log in:
All tools below are in the responsible gaming section of your account settings.
Set a maximum deposit amount per day, per week, or per month. Once the limit is reached, further deposits are blocked until the period resets. Reducing a limit takes effect immediately. Increasing a limit requires a cooling-off period — a limit increase cannot be applied instantly in the same session it was set.
Set a maximum net loss per day, per week, or per month. Net loss is the difference between total bets and total winnings during the period. Loss limits and deposit limits work differently — using both together gives more complete control than either one alone.
Set a notification to appear after a defined interval of continuous play — 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 60 minutes, or another duration. The reminder does not end the session automatically. It creates a moment to pause and evaluate. Research on gambling behavior consistently finds that scheduled check-ins reduce the gap between planned and actual session length.
Suspends account access for a duration you select: 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 90 days, or other available options. During the suspension, login, deposits, and game access are all blocked. The duration cannot be shortened once the period starts — only extended. The right tool when you want a defined break while keeping the option to return afterward.
Closes your account permanently. There is no reinstatement process. Any real-money balance at closure is returned via your verified withdrawal method after a compliance review. Bonus credit and bonus-derived winnings are forfeited. Use self-exclusion only when you want to remove access entirely with no possibility of returning. If uncertain, use a cooling-off period first.
All responsible gaming tools can be activated through your account settings. If you need help activating a cooling-off period or self-exclusion, contact live chat directly — they can complete the process on your behalf.
These indicators appear consistently in research on harmful gambling behavior. Several together, or any that persist over time, warrant attention.

The effects of problem gambling extend to people who are close to the person gambling. If someone in your household or close circle is gambling in a way that affects shared finances, relationships, or wellbeing, the organizations listed above can also provide support and guidance. You do not need to be a gambler yourself to contact them.
SpinEmpire requires players to be 18 or older. Age is confirmed through the KYC verification process before any withdrawal is released. If you share a device or network with people under 18, browser filtering tools such as GamBlock or BetFilter restrict access to gambling sites at the device or router level. Keep your SpinEmpire login details private.
Confirm the specific budget and time limit for this session before logging in. Check that you are in a clear-headed state — avoid sessions when tired, stressed, or under pressure. Have a plan going in, not a general intention to figure it out once you are playing.
When the planned budget is spent, the session is done — regardless of time remaining. Do not increase bet size after a run of losses; it does not improve your statistical position and depletes remaining funds faster. While a bonus is active, keep bets at or below CA$5 per spin.
Note whether you spent what you planned. If you consistently spend more than planned, set or lower a deposit limit before the next session — doing it in a neutral moment between sessions works better than trying to decide in the moment.
Activate a cooling-off period in account settings, or contact support to do it on your behalf. Contact one of the support organizations for confidential external help. Both paths are open simultaneously.
